Costa Blanca, and Torrevieja in particular, have lots of excellent golf courses - including the world famous La Manga golf resort and the superb new La Finca golf club.

There are three excellent golf courses within a few minutes drive from my luxury apartment in Cabo Roig. These are Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor. To pre-book your tee times, fax and telephone numbers are listed below. If you play between 12.00 midday and 4.00 pm the green fees are a lot cheaper.

Real Club De Golf Campoamor

An extensive clubhouse and conference facilities with three restaurants and an excellent pro shop.

The front nine holes are fairly open but the back nine holes are a totally different proposition, so beware!

Fast greens and steep sided hills provide very enjoyable golf.

Club de Golf Las Ramblas De Orihuelas

This course is for low handicappers with great holes cut into the hillside of Campoamor near the sea.

Jose Gancedo designed this stunning course, which is the shortest of the three courses, but without doubt the most challenging.

Campo De Golf Villamartin

Probably the most famous of the three courses as it hosted the prestigious Mediterranean Open in 1994. It is a beautifully landscaped development, full of pine, olive, palm and cypress trees and offers top class facilities making this a challenging course for players of all abilities.

A superb clubhouse with an excellent restaurant and swimming pools ensures a relaxing setting for refreshments after a round.
